Just 2 more days to the wedding event.

This morning, I woke up to a call from the tent guys, and he said they ran out of plastic chairs and cream table cloth. OMG the horror!

But he was quick to tell me they will upgrade me to chiavari chairs and silver sequin table cloth T______T

Those are tears of joy, by the way.

I leapt out of the bed and shook Bryan awake to this happy news! This is a dream come true and I'm incredibly happy! Those close to me know I'm crazy about sparkly things. Plus, chiavari chairs are the bomb ;)

Halfway celebrating, I realized my dress is also entirely sequin. Oh no...

Hahaha okay, maybe not #layandiri

I have many getaway pictures waiting to be edited, but I've been occupied these days with the business and upcoming wedding, so they're still seating in my hard disk. Best part, I pre-ordered 3 photobooks back in December 2013 thinking I'll have plenty of time to edit pictures and design them before its due date in May. However, nothing's done yet, and May is next month OMG! :O

Anyway, I just wanted to blog some funny conversations with the fiance (I better call him this more often, else I won't be able to, in a few more months!) just so we can look back at this in the future, and laugh at our silly selves.

Lately, we've been introduced to chia seeds and we've been consuming them on a daily basis. Bryan thinks it helps him (to do the no.2 in the toilet) so he's been eating quite a lot of them. This conversation happened at 7AM when he was making a cup of chia fresca for himself.

Bryan : Hmm, what will happen if I eat too much chia seeds?
Me : *nonchalantly* You'll become a BIRD.

He looked back at me in disbelief. :D

By the way, my good ol' friend, Sue May (Yep, the pretty girl you see in my Boracay post) is selling chia seeds, so buy them from her at Strictly Chia Seeds ;)

Just two days ago, I thought wearing a jumpsuit for our marriage signing might be an interesting idea, so I decided to convince Bryan by showing him Rose Bryne's white jumpsuit on my laptop.

Isn't it pretty?

Me: Look, darling, isn't this jumpsuit nice? Maybe I can wear this for our ROM
Bryan: WHAT??? No way! Two person wearing PANTS?

Then he continued.

Bryan: Then who is going to wear the skirt? ME???

And he continued...

Bryan: I'm NOT going to wear a Scottish kilt!

By the time he was done, I couldn't even utter a word because I was laughing too hard.

Oh well, guess there goes my idea of a white jumpsuit outfit #bridewoes

We have a new pet! It was very unexpected, and Bryan thinks that it's god-given. Here's the story!

About a month ago, I was in the car with the rest of Bryan's family, when his mom spoke up, suddenly remembered something.

Auntie: Oh yeah! Bryan you so mischievous ar! Go and put a tortoise in the house pond!

Bryan: EH? Where got? What tortoise???

Auntie: You didn't meh? How come there is a tortoise in our pond?

Bryan: There is a tortoise in our pond?!

The moment we reached home and got out of the car, all of us peered into the pond and found a tortoise about 4 inches long!!! Nobody placed him there (We haven't had time to determine the gender of it, so we're assuming it's a male for now!) and him ended up in the Lim's pond still remains a mystery until today!

We didn't know what to do with the tortoise. Bryan's sisters tried feeding him with cabbage, but he didn't eat it. Only much later, that we realized he ate fish food!

Honestly, Bryan and I were both occupied with work that time, so we didn't give the tortoise much thought. But some days, I would think to myself if we should release him to the public ponds. But the tortoise seemed as if he was previously a pet. If he was, could he handle being out there in the wild?

A couple of weeks passed, and I decided to check on the tortoise. He was very shy, as usual, always hiding at a corner when we are around! I also found out that Bryan's parents have not been feeding the tortoise, because apparently, they eat algae -_-

I think a tortoise his size would starve if he were to eat only algae! Plus, there isn't much algae in the pond to begin with.

So I got Bryan to feed the tortoise at least once a day. That poor thing must have not eaten anything during our one-week work trip overseas! The pond didn't have any landing platform for him to sunbathe too. Imagine him being submerged all the time T_____T

When we found out the fish food was running out, Bryan said...

Bryan: After the fish food finishes, I'll go buy some real tortoise food for him.

Me: Wow! It's like you've decided to keep him as your pet!

Bryan: YEAH! Why not?! I think I will just adopt him as my pet! I'm going to name him....

And just like that, we have a new pet :)

Am blogging about my Melbourne trip on the flight back to KL from my work trip! I wished I had more time to blog about my travels, but these days it’s been all about Whitesoot. If I’m not doing anything related to Whitesoot, I’ll be either eating or checking social media before sleeping!

My brother graduated as a doctor last December in Melbourne, so my family and two aunts flew over to attend his graduation ceremony. Yep, my brother is definitely better in academics than me :P

It was scorching hot when we first touched down! It was almost 40 deg during his graduation day, and some of us took shelter from the heat in Union House’s cafeteria. Not all of us could enter the ceremony hall as there were only 2 tickets available for my brother.

After the ceremony ended, we stepped out of Union House to greet my brother and felt a gush of cold wind! My aunt thought it was the air conditioning from the building beside -_-“ The temperature very quickly fell to 25 degrees. That night itself, we were shivering at 16 degrees. Melbourne, you’re so erratic!

But the next few days were a comfortable and pleasant 20-25 degrees during the day :) Thank goodness for the lovely weather because we rented an 8-seater MPV (so huge!) and took road trips. It was awesome! More of that on the next post ;)

Other than attending my brother’s graduation and day trips, I only had a day or two to enjoy Melbourne. One of the days, I decided to roam alone around the city, visit my favourite crepe cafe to take a bite and people-watch, and just let the nostalgic feeling take over me. After some time spent studying in Melbourne, I can’t help but fall in love with the city! This was the place that cultivated my love for fashion. Without spending time in it, I’m not too sure if Whitesoot exists today :)

While wandering around, I stumbled upon some really nice street art! Was especially surprised by the Joker and Virgin Mary :)

Oh! And I managed to meet up with my gorgeous friend, Mei Yi, too. She brought me to a rather hidden restaurant in the city for dinner ;)

Alright, I think that’s enough pictures for this time :) Hope to blog about the day trips soon!
